The Signs

 This year I turned 41 and I have been having a lot of ah ha moments.  I really feel like I am coming into myself and understanding who I am and what I want in life.  I like the person I am becoming and I am so ready to move into 2012 with a positive new outlook on life!  

So as Christmas is left behind, I found myself out and about for no particular reason just wanted to get out of the house.  Well on my last couple of outings, I have been spotting "Signs" that have captured my attention.  I believe these are signs from God, getting my attention.  I am listening loud and clear!  

As I move forward into the new year I will be paying attention to ALL of the signs God is sending me and sharing them here with you.  I am open to experiencing life on a different level in the year ahead.  I invite you to do the same!

BTW.....There is a commonality in these 3 signs....They all have the line, "LIVE YOUR LIFE".  Now if that isn't a clear sign, I don't know what is!!!

My Love of Birthdays!!!

Today I celebrate my 41st Birthday!!! I don't feel a day over 16 lol!  I have always loved celebrating my birthday and those of my family and friends.  Each year is a time of reflection.  I want to be mindful of my past so that I don't repeat the same things that didn't work for me.  I want to dive into my future realizing how precious each and every moment is!  I live my life very guarded.  This year I want to let down my guard so that I can really step into the woman I was created to be.  It's time to stop pretending and start BEING.  

When I say stop "pretending" I simply mean, stop trying to MAKE my life into something it was never meant to be. Stop trying to put myself in rolls I was never meant to play.  It's time to simply show up and let "me" shine through.  That is when I believe true freedom will come.  Learning to allow each moment to simply happen, instead of trying to plan every detail only to be disappointed in the outcome.  My life doesn't have to resemble anyone else's.  So this year I'm going to show up being me, whatever that may be at any given moment.  I thank God for giving me another year of life!  May I touch a life, heal a heart, make a difference in the world.
